WHI uses a confluence of mature and innovative technologies to provide a low-carbon solution to port logistical limitations, intractable congestion, and accumulated environmental degradation in the ports and surrounding communities. 

Quadrupling operational land will create new vistas for container logistics at the port and beyond.

Adding tens of thousands of acres to container handling is foundational in eliminating the layers of bottlenecks at the port. Current container handling and management at the port struggles with compounding limitations that drive increasing costs, security, environmental and social issues.

Using close to zero-carbon transport technology with existing transportation corridors maximizes economic potential of existing infrastructure, broad-spectrum security, environmental benefits, and positive social potentials in a recast costal communities' land-use paradigm.

Connecting and invigorating inland transport and economies

Removing time and space-consuming processes for container and freight handling to an inland location provides a vast, dynamic and simplified foundation for the modern Intermodal and Interconnected Supply Chain, dramatically improving service to core industries and regional economies. 

Renewing and updating port-connected communities' key streets and roads.

Renewing and organizing key and finally tractor trailer-free streets and roads in surrounding port-related communities will accelerate improvements in quality-of-life and environmental concerns, rapidly delivering associated benefits to the broadest population.
